Believe that Jesus Can Help

Good morning! Today I am in Matthew 9:27-34. After Jesus left the girls home, He went to the house He was staying in. Two men, who were blind, followed Him shouting, "Son of David, have mercy on us!" They went into the house that Jesus was in. Jesus asked them if they believed He could heal them. They told Him yes. Then He touched their eyes and told them that because of their faith, they would be healed. Then their eyes were opened and they could see. Jesus told them not to tell anyone what had happened, but when they left they told everyone. When they left, some people brought a demon-possessed man, that could not speak, to Him. Jesus cast the demon out of the man, and he began speaking. The people were amazed, saying that nothing like that had ever happened in Israel. But the Pharisees told them He could cast out demons because He was empowered by the prince of demons.

These two blind men had enough faith in Jesus that they followed Him, and had the boldness to come right up to Jesus. Jesus asked them if they believed He could heal them. Jesus asks us the same question today: Do you believe He can help you? These men believed, so they approached Jesus. If you believe, you have to go to Him. You have to go to Him yourself and ask Him for His help. If you truly believe, He can help you. You have to take that step to Him. These men did. We too must have the same faith. When we are going through whatever trial, we have to seek God's help. Many people say they believe that God can help them, but they never take the step to Him to ask Him for help. God knows exactly what you are struggling with, but it is up to you to seek Him. Seek Him today with your whole heart, and believe He can, then allow Him to do what only He can do.
