Ambassadors for Christ
Thursday, March 5th, 2026 4:14 am Good morning! Today I am in Matthew 17:24-27. When Jesus and His disciples arrived in Capernaum, the collectors of the Temple tax asked Peter if his Teacher paid the Temple tax? Peter automatically tells the men yes He does. Peter goes into a house where Jesus is, and before He could tell Jesus about the collectors, Jesus asks Peter if Kings tax their own people or the people the conquer? Peter answers with, "The people they conquer."

More Understanding
Wednesday, March 4th, 2026 4:10 am Good morning! Today I am in Matthew 17:22-23, Mark 9:30-32, and Luke 9:43-45. After casting the evil spirits out of the boy, Jesus and His disciples traveled through Galilee. Jesus didn't want anyone to know where He was. He turned to His disciples and told them that the Son of Man was going to be betrayed into the hands of His enemies, and be killed. But on the third day, He would be raised from the dead. The disciples didn't underst

The next day, as Jesus and His disciples come down from the mountain, a large crowd was gathered. The religious leaders in the crowd were arguing. When the crowd saw Jesus they ran to greet Him. Jesus asked them why they were arguing. A man in the crowd called out to Jesus begging Him to have mercy on his son. He told Jesus that his son was possessed by

God's Chosen One
Monday, March 2nd, 2026 4:33 am Good morning! Today I am in Matthew 17:1-13, Mark 9:2-13, and Luke 9:28-36. Six days after Jesus predicted His death to His disciples, Jesus led Peter, James, and John up a high mountain to pray. Luke tells us it was 8 days later. While Jesus was praying, His face and clothes were transformed so that His face shone bright like the sun and His clothes became as white as light. And suddenly Moses and Elijah appeared talking to Jesus. They

Jesus Restores
Friday, February 27th, 2026 8:50 am Good morning! Today I am in Mark 8:22-26. When Jesus and His disciples arrive at Bethsaida, some people brought a blind man to Him and begged Jesus to heal him. Jesus took the man by the hand and led him out of the village away from the people. Jesus spit in his eyes and laid His hands on him, and asked him if he could see anything now? The man told Jesus yes, he could see people but they were blurry, and looked like trees walking aro

Beware of False Teaching
Thursday, February 26th, 2026 12:31 pm Good afternoon! Today I am in Matthew 16:5-12 and Mark 8:14-21. After Jesus and the disciples crossed the lake, the disciples noticed they only had one loaf of bread with them. Jesus tells them, "Watch out! Beware of the yeast of the Pharisees and Sadducees (Matthew 16:6)." Mark says Herod instead of Sadducees. The disciples began arguing about not having any bread. Jesus knew what they were saying and asked them why they were ar

It's Easy to Forget
Tuesday, February 24th, 2026 4:31 am Good morning! Today I am in Matthew 15:32-39 and Mark 8:1-10. A large crowd had gathered around Jesus and His disciples, and they had run out of food. Jesus told His disciples that He felt sorry for the people because they had been with Him for 3 days, and were out of food. And He didn't want to send them on their way because He was afraid they would faint on their way home. So He told the disciples to feed them. They responded by a

Jesus Heals
Monday, February 23rd, 2026 4:11 am Good morning! Today I am in Matthew 15:29-31 and Mark 7:31-37. Jesus left Tyre and went up to Sidon before going back to the Sea of Galilee. A deaf man with a speech impediment was brought to Him and the people begged Jesus to heal Him. Jesus took the man away from the crowd of people. He put His fingers in the man's ears, and then He spit on His own fingers and touched the man's tongue. He looked up to heaven and said, "Be Opened!"

What is in Our Hearts Matter
Saturday, February 21st, 2026 4:28 pm Good afternoon! Today I am in Matthew 15:1-20 and Mark 7:1-23. Some Pharisees and religious leaders went to Jesus and asked Him why His disciples didn’t follow their old tradition of ceremonial hand washing before they eat. Jesus replied by asking them why, by their traditions, do they violate the direct commandments of God? One of the commandments they violated was honoring your father and mother, and anyone who speaks disrespectful

Friday, February 20th, 2026 1:40 pm Good afternoon! I hope you have had a good day today. It has been a really good day so far. It is absolutely beautiful outside, just a tad chilly. Makes me ready for spring. I know we still have a few more weeks, but I am definitely ready for some spring weather. We plant a garden every year, and I am ready for that too. Today I am in John 6:60-71. Jesus just got done telling the people that He is the bread of life. The disciples

Remain in Jesus
Thursday, February 19th, 2026 4:15 am Good morning! Today I am in John 6:41-59. The people began disagreeing about what Jesus said about being the true bread from heaven. Asking how could this be when they knew His mom and dad? Jesus told them to stop complaining about what He said because no one comes to Him unless the Father draws them to Him. Everyone who listens to the Father and learns from Him, come to Him. But no one has ever seen the Father except for the one H

They had seen the disciples take a boat to the other side of the lake, but did not see Jesus go with them. But they couldn't find Jesus, so they got into some boats and went to the other side of the lake as well. When they got there they saw Jesus and asked Him when He got there becau

Not Just a Healer
Tuesday, February 17th, 2026 4:13 am Good morning! Today I am in Matthew 14:34-36 and Mark 6:53-56. Once Jesus and the disciples made it across the lake, people recognized Him. News spread quickly that He was there, and people started coming from nearby towns, bringing their sick to be healed. Wherever Jesus went the people followed with their sick. They begged Jesus to at least let the sick touch the fringe of His robe. Everyone who touched Him was healed. The people

Monday, February 16th, 2026 4:33 am Good morning! Today I am in Matthew 14:22-33, Mark 6:45-52, and John 6:16-21. After Jesus feeds the people, He insists that the disciples get in the boat and head across the lake while He sends the people home, and goes off by Himself to pray. While He was on the hill, praying alone, night fell and a major storm hit the disciples in the boat. This was about 3 o'clock in the morning. Jesus saw the disciples were in trouble so He went t

The disciples come back to Jesus and told Him all about the things they had done and taught in the different towns they had gone to.
