Good afternoon! Getting on here a little late. This morning, I was too tired to write, so I'm on here now, on my lunch break. Today I am in Matthew 8:23-27, Mark 4:35-41, and Luke 8:22-25. After Jesus taught the crowd, Him and His disciples got into a boat to travel across the lake. Jesus fell asleep, and while He was asleep a violent storm started, causing large waves that were filling the boat with water. The disciples became scared, so they woke Jesus up telling Him they were going to drown and asking Him if He even cared. Jesus got up and rebuked the wind and waves, telling them to be silent. Then He asked them why they were so afraid and telling them that they had little faith. The disciples were amazed because the wind and waves obeyed Him, and they began asking each other who this man was that even nature obeys Him.

Even the wind and waves obey Jesus! The disciples were terrified of the storm they were in, but Jesus calmed the storm. Jesus does that for us today. When we get into situations that terrify us and we don't know what to do, all we have to do is ask Jesus for help. He will hear us, and He will help us. We do not have to be afraid of any storm that will come into our lives because God cares for every aspect of our lives and He will take care of us. He is telling us we have nothing to fear with Him because He is in complete control of everything including nature.

Is there a storm in your life right know? Something that is causing you to be afraid? Know that God sees you right where you are, He hears you, and He knows exactly what you need. Turn to Him for the help you need. If you are not in one right now you will be eventually so stay ready by staying in God's Word. I have heard it put before that you are either going through a trial, coming out of a trial, or about to go into one. This world is full of trials and tribulations, but we can have faith knowing that God is in control. Stay walking with Him in His Word and prayer, and you will be able to handle whatever trial comes at you.
