Seek and You Shall Find

Good morning! Today I am in Matthew 7:7-11. Jesus tells us to keep on asking and we will receive what we ask for. To keep on seeking and we will find. To keep on knocking and the door will be opened for us. If parents know how to give good gifts to their children, then how much more will our heavenly Father give good gifts to those who seek Him.

God wants us to seek Him. He wants us to come to Him for everything we need, and not give up. If we are needing something, He knows, and He knows exactly what we need, even if we don't know ourselves. When we seek Him with our whole hearts, He will start revealing Himself to us. Blessing us in our lives. He tells us to come to Him, like little children go to their earthly parents for what they need. So we can come to Him with everything we need.

Do you seek God wholeheartedly? If you do He will reward you. He will bless you with everything you need. Don't give up on Him if you feel like you are not getting an answer from Him. Continue to seek Him. Sometimes God does not answer prayers in the why we want Him to because He knows what we need better than we do. The more we get to know God, the more we start learning to ask for what is good for us, not just things that we want. For our heavenly Father is not selfish. And we don't have to come to Him begging. For He is a loving Father, who understands, cares, and comforts His children. Seek Him for all you need.
