Good morning! Today I am in Mark 9:38-41 and Luke 9:49-50. John tells Jesus that they saw a man casting out demons in His name so they told him to stop because he wasn't part of their group. Jesus tells them not to stop him. That if anyone is performing a miracle in His name, they would not be able to speak negatively about Him. Telling them that anyone who is not against them is for them. And if anyone even offers them a cup of water because they belong to Him, that person will be rewarded.
If we believe in Jesus Christ, and follow Him, we are working for Him. Serving Him here on earth. Everyone of us play a different part because we are all unique in the gifts and talents that the Lord has blessed us with. We are not to be working against each other, but together. No matter what denomination we are, as long as we agree on who Jesus Christ is to us, we need to be working together. Working together to build His Kingdom up here on earth. We are all servants of God if we believe. We also need to cheer each other on and encourage one another in their gifts. Don't allow division to come between believers, instead, work together because we all belong to one body, the church (Ephesians 3:6-7). Everyone of us play a very important role. You are needed.
