Don't Get Tired of Doing What is Good

Good morning! Today I am in Galatians 6:1-10. Paul tells us that if we see another believer overcome by sin, we as fellow believers should gently and humbly help that person back onto the right path. But we must be careful not to fall into the same temptations. We should share in each other's burdens, and in this way we are obeying the law of Christ. If we think we are too important to help someone, we are only fooling ourselves because we are not that important. He also tells us to pay attention to our own work, for then we will get the satisfaction of a job well done, and we won't need to compare ourselves with anyone else. For we are each responsible for our own conduct. He tells us that we should provide for the teachers that teach us the Word of God, sharing all good things with them. He tells us not to mock the justice of God. And that we will always harvest what we plant. For those who live to satisfy their own sinful natures will harvest decay and death from their sinful natures. But those who live to please the Spirit will harvest everlasting life from the Spirit. So he tells us to not get tired of doing what is good, and at just the right time we will harvest a blessing if we don't give up. Whenever we have the opportunity, we should do good to everyone, especially to those in the family of faith.
As Christians, God wants us to do good for others, blessing other people. If we see someone struggling, offer help. Sharing His love with all those around us. We all need help sometimes and none of us are better than anyone else. Jesus helps everyone of us even while we are in the middle of sin, and He wants us to offer that same help to those we see in need. And in time we will harvest a blessing. That does not mean we are to help others out of selfish desires, to look good around others or for some other reward, but to help others out of the love of God. For like Paul says, if we only satisfy our own selfish desires, we will harvest death. But if we allow the Spirit that God blesses each of us with, to guide us, He will bless us in return. Paul warns us though to be careful when we help others that are struggling with a sin, so we too won't fall into the same temptations. The more time we spend with God in prayer and in His Word, the more He reveals to us through His Spirit, how we can help those around us. As well as, blessing us with the strength to not give in to the same temptations. God wants to bless us, as well as use us to bless other people. The more He blesses us, the more we can be a blessing to other people. Seek Him for guidance, and allow Him to show you how you can be a blessing to others.
