Let God Speak to Your Heart

Monday, November 24th, 2025

4:26 am

Good morning! This morning I was in Mark 1:9-11 and Luke 3:21-22. These two sections are parallel to where I was yesterday morning, Matthew 3:13-17. Mark and Luke both tells us that Jesus went to John at the Jordan River to get baptized, and the heaven's opened up, and the Holy Spirit descended like a dove, and God spoke, saying the same thing Matthew said. The only difference with Mark and Luke was that they did not list the interaction that Jesus had with John the Baptist about John not feeling worthy to baptize Jesus.

In the notes section of my Bible it talks about how people look for big and miraculous signs from heaven for them to believe. I talked about this yesterday, so I won't dive into that again. But the note section says that what brings us to faith is the power of God's message to answer the cry of our hearts. I love that! Because we each need something different. We all have different problems and struggles, and we need God to speak to us individually about those things. Because Jesus was fully human, He understands the different issues that we deal with everyday. And because He is fully God as well, He knows exactly what we need and when we need it.

How do you need God to speak to you today? Don't look for some big miracle to happen. Instead, seek a cleansed and renewed life as evidence of His presence. As we draw closer and closer to God through His Word, prayer, and worship, He answers the desires of our heart, right when and where we need it the most. Trust God to help you.
