Starting Something New

Good afternoon. Wow, I can't believe I am doing this. This is my very first blog post. The first 3 blog posts on here were completely AI generated but they were so good that I am going to keep them up. I never even thought about doing this, creating a website and starting a blog until last week. I know nothing about blogging, never even read a blog before, but God put it in my heart last week to start this journey to help show others how He is in every detail of our lives. I have never created a website either, so bear with me as I continue to build the site.

When God put this on my heart last week I thought, "I know nothing about how to do any of this, or even where to begin." But God has continued to walk me step by step this week, helping me not feel overwhelmed but encouraged, that He is the one that gave me the thought and that He would be the One to help me, as long as I stayed focused on Him. Which, granted, I know I can do nothing without Him because on our own we are nothing, but with God all things are possible, as for where the name of this website came from. God gave me this business name about 5 years ago because I felt Him calling me out to start my own business but not sure what I should be doing. I am one of those people that have fifty million ideas in her head of things I would like to do or try, things I would like to start, and since the beginning God is like, "yes anything is possible with Me." So there is the reasoning behind the name.

So, since this is my first post I know I need to tell you a little about myself. My name is Jennifer Williams. I just turned 40 years old 2 weeks ago. I am married to an awesome husband, John Williams, and we have been married for 20 years. We have 2 kids, which are not kids anymore but young adults. We have 3 dogs with one on the way, 2 cats, 1 rabbit, and 1 turtle. Needless to say we love animals. I am a creator, and God has shown me over the last 2 years, I am more than just a creator, He has called me to be an artist. He has shown me how much I enjoy painting, and how it can help other people as well. He has shown me that He has created me to be an artist that is working with Him to help build His kingdom here on earth, guiding others to Him through my work. Now, I am not saying I am the best artist in the world, because I definitely am not, I am very much a beginner. But I know that I am supposed to be using my art for Him. It is not about perfection, but stepping out in obedience like He calls us to do.

This blog will be about my daily journey with God. How He is talking to me and inspiring me daily, and hopefully will encourage you to connect with God in your daily life. I do not know how long these posts will be everyday, but I know God is calling me to start this journey. Throughout this blog I will talk about what verses I am in and how God is speaking to me at that time. I will also talk about things going on daily in my life. Pretty much a daily journal entry. I journal daily in my morning Bible study time, and have been for several years, it helps me focus on the verses as well as helps me retain what I am reading. This will just be an extension of that, but bringing others along on the journey. God calls each of us to share our testimonies to help others that may be where we are or are going through things we have been through already. That is part of being His followers. Our stories can help others. So don't be afraid to share your story when you feel led to by the Holy Spirit.

This morning in my Bible study time I was in Luke 1:46-56. Mary is visiting her cousin, Elizabeth. An angel of the Lord told Mary that her cousin Elizabeth was also pregnant, so Mary went to visit her. In these verses, Mary is singing a song of praise to the Lord. Singing of how her soul praises the Lord for He noticed her and is blessing her even though she is just a lowly servant girl. If you go to the verses before these, they tell us that an angel appeared to her and told her that the Lord had found favor with her, and that He would bless her with a Son, and she would name Him Jesus, even though she was a virgin. This is very encouraging for us today because it shows us that God sees us where we are, no matter what our status is to the outside world. God sees us and knows us personally. He sees when we are in need, He hears when we call out to Him. He is right there waiting for us to come to Him. He is the one that calls us to Him. When He calls us to step out in faith like Mary did, He sees when we do. He sees our obedience to Him, and He is right there every step of the way. Like Mary, sing a song of praise to the Lord for He is blessing us even when we may not see it. Sing praises for all that God has done in your life. Our praises are a sweet aroma to God. God loves our praises.

These verses came at a good time for me personally because God is calling me to step out in faith with this blog, just as He has called me to step out in other areas throughout my life. I have noticed through the years how God's Word is alive and breathing, because He meets me every morning when I take the time to get into His Word. And He can do the same for each one of us.

I hope this encourages you today to start spending a little of your time everyday with God. He will meet you every time.
