Good morning! Today I am in Acts 16:6-10. Paul and Silas continued traveling through the area of Galatia. Luke tells us that the Holy Spirit prevented them from preaching the word in the province of Asia, so they headed north for the province of Bithynia. But again the Holy Spirit did not allow them to go there. Instead, they went to the seaport of Troas. That night Paul had a vision that a man from Macedonia was standing there, pleading with him to come there to help them. So they decided to leave for Macedonia at once, believing that God was calling them to preach the Good News there.

Paul and Silas were heading to different areas to preach the Good News, but something kept happening that made them go in different ways. They believed that the Holy Spirit was preventing them from going to certain areas. We do not know what exactly was happening, and how the Holy Spirit was preventing them from going into different areas. But it was clear to them that it was the Holy Spirit that was redirecting them. They were on a mission for God, and He was guiding them every step of the way through His Holy Spirit. They may have not understood why at they time, but they trusted God and kept going.

God guides us in the same way today. He gives us His Holy Spirit to dwell in us and help guide us on the right path. And just like He did for Paul, sometimes doors may close, preventing us from going in a certain direction, but trust God that where one door closes, He will open another one for your next step in your journey. If you are still alive, God still has a plan and a mission for you, so even though you may not understand why something is happening, trust that God has got everything under control. His ways are higher than our ways, and His thoughts are not our thoughts. He knows all and sees all, and knows exactly what you need when you need it. All things will work out even if you don't understand how. Keep walking with God, praying, reading His Word, and fellow shipping with other believers, and He will direct you steps.
