Good morning! Today I am in Acts 16:11-15. Paul and Silas headed to Philippi, a major city in Macedonia, a Roman colony. They stayed there for several days. One Sabbath, they headed to a riverbank outside of the city, where they thought people would be, for prayer meetings. They sat down and spoke with some women that were gathered there. One was a woman named Lydia. She was a merchant of expensive purple cloth and she worshiped God. As she listened to them, the Lord opened her heart, and she accepted what Paul was saying. She was baptized, along with the other members of her household. And she asked them to be her guests. Saying that if they agreed she was a true believer of the Lord, they would come stay at her home. Urging them until they agreed.

Through the Holy Spirit's guidance, God lead them to Macedonia. Allowing them to meet a woman that would end up being baptized, along with her entire household. Changing her life as well as her family's lives. We may not understand why God is redirecting us, but He has a plan. We cannot see that plan at first, but as we walk with Him and trust Him, we will eventually understand why. His willingness to follow the Lord where ever He led, allowed Him to meet many people and share the Good News with them. He made a huge impact on this family.

When we allow God to guide us, He leads us to exactly where we need to be, and He equips us with exactly what we need in that place. His plans are bigger than anything we could ever dream of for ourselves. So when we let go and become flexible, God can use us in mighty ways. But we must allow God room in our lives to move as only He can do. We cannot be in control of everything in our lives, but God is in control. So when we let go and give that control to God, He will do some amazing things. Let go of control, and allow God to do what only He can do. Guiding you to the right place at the right time. He has a beautiful and perfect plan for you, trust Him and allow Him to guide you.
