Jesus is the Best

Good morning! This morning, I am still in the same section I was yesterday, in the notes of my Bible. This morning, my Bible points out that the wine that Jesus created was better than the wine that was served first. The master of ceremonies pointed that out in John 2:10. The master of ceremonies says that people usually serve the best wine first, then after everyone has had a lot to drink, they would bring out the cheaper stuff.

In life we go looking for things that are exciting or give our lives meaning. Looking at the things of the world to fill us. We look at other people and what they have done ,or are doing, for what we should be doing in our lives. But those ways don't even come close to Jesus' way. People think following Jesus is boring or dull, but following Him is exciting. He will open your eyes and show you amazing things. His way is better than anything we will ever find here on earth. He is the best in all areas of our lives. Usually we look for Him only when we have no other hope or option, saving Him for last. But Jesus wants us to seek Him above all else for He will give us everything we need. He will bring joy, peace, excitement, and so much more.

Are you looking for other things besides Jesus to make you happy? The world shows us that drugs, alcohol, sex, fame, fortune, you name it, will bring you satisfaction. But that is a lie. Those things only drag us down into a pit, that is hard to get out of. But Jesus can get us out. Jesus will fill the void in our lives that we use those other things to fill. His ways are best. Without Him we are nothing, and can do nothing. If you are stuck in those worldly things, ask Jesus to help you. Give whatever it is to Him, and ask Him to fill that void. He wants to help you.
