Good morning! This morning I am in John 2:1-12. The next day, after Jesus tells His disciples that He is the stairway to heaven, they head to Cana in Galilee for a wedding celebration. While they were at the celebration, the host of the party ran out of wine. Jesus' mother told Him about it, but He told her that it was not His time yet. But instead of listening to Him, she told the servants to do whatever He told them to do. He told them to fill some jars up with water that was nearby. Then to dip some out and take it to the master of ceremonies. When the master of ceremonies had tasted it, he was surprised to know that they saved the best wine for last.

Mary did not listen to Jesus when He said, "My time has not yet come", she trusted that He would handle the situation. She may not have known how He was going to handle it, but trusted that He would.

Whenever we come up against situations that we don't understand or know how to handle, give it to Jesus. Give it to Jesus and trust that He will handle it in the best way possible. For He knows exactly what is going on and what needs to be done.

Is there a situation that you are dealing with today that you don't know what to do? Many times we try to deal with it in our own strengths, and we end up feeling overwhelmed, over worked, exhausted.... you name it. But we don't have to feel like that. Jesus came to help us. He tells us in 1 Peter 5:7 to cast our cares on God for He cares about us. We don't have to carry heavy burdens on our own. Jesus loves you and wants to give you the encouragement and strength you need to get through. Trust Him, because we can't do this life on our own.
