Unclean
Saturday, December 20th, 2025 7:58 am Good morning! Today I am in Matthew 8:1-4, Mark 1:40-45, and Luke 5:12-16. In these sections Jesus meets a man with an advanced case of leprosy. When the man approaches Jesus, he kneels down to the ground, and asks Jesus, "Lord if You are willing, You can heal me and make me clean." Jesus reaches out to the man and tells him, "I am willing. Be healed!" Instantly the man was healed. Jesus told the man to not tell anyone about what

Spend Time Alone with God
Friday, December 19th, 2025 9:36 am Good morning! Today I am in Matthew 4:23-25, Mark 1:35-39, and Luke 4:42-44. After Jesus healed Simon's mother-in-law and the other people that were brought to Him, Mark and Luke tells us that Jesus got up very early the next morning, before daybreak, to spend time alone in prayer. Luke tells us that the people looked for Jesus everywhere, and when they found Him the people begged Him not to leave them. But Jesus told them that He had

Just One Touch
Thursday, December 18th, 2025 5 am Good morning! This morning I am in Matthew 8:14-17, Mark 1:29-34, and Luke 4:38-41. These are all parallel. They say almost the same thing, but there are a few differences. I am not going to go into all the differences. I am just going to paraphrase what they say into one section. I do strongly suggest looking up the Scriptures I list everyday, so you can read them for yourself, and allow God to speak to you through them for yourself

Under Whose Authority
Wednesday, December 17th, 2025 5 am Good morning! Today I am in Mark 1:21-28. Here Jesus and His disciples are in Capernaum. While He is there, He teaches at the synagogue on the Sabbath. Luke 4:31-37 is parallel to this, and Luke tells us that the whole time Jesus is in Capernaum, He taught at the synagogue every Sabbath. All the men at the synagogue were amazed at His teachings for He taught with real authority. One day while He was teaching, a man possessed by a de

Drop Your Net
Tuesday, December 16th, 2025 5 am This morning I am in Luke 5:1-11. One day as Jesus was walking along the shore of the sea of Galilee, He was teaching to a crowd of people. On the shore were 2 fishing boats. One was Simon and Andrew's, and the other boat was James and John. As the crowd began pressing in, Jesus stepped into Simon and Andrew's boat, and told Simon to push out a little, and He began to teach the people from there. After He taught, He told Simon to go ou

Acting on Faith
Monday, December 15th, 2005 4:54 am Good morning! This morning I am in John 4:46-54. As Jesus was traveling through Galilee, there was a government official in Capernaum whose son was very sick. When he heard Jesus was in Cana, he went and begged Jesus to heal his son who was about to die. Jesus asked the man if he would never believe in Him unless he saw miraculous signs and wonders. The official pleaded, begging Jesus to go to his boy before he died. Jesus told him t

A Great Light
Sunday, December 14th, 2025 8:25 am Good morning! Today I am in Matthew 4:13-17. Here Matthew tells us that after Jesus left Samaria, He went to Nazareth and then to Capernaum, in the region of Zebulun and Naphtali. Fulfilling what the prophet Isaiah said in Isaiah 9:1-2. Isaiah said that in the land of Galilee where so many Gentiles live, the people who sat in darkness have seen a great light. For those who lived in the land where death casts its shadow a light has shi

Seeing the Change
Saturday, December 13th, 2025 3:05 pm Good afternoon! Today I am in John 4:39-42. After the Samaritan woman left Jesus, she told many people throughout her village about how Jesus told her everything she ever did. Many people went to see Him, and begged Him to stay in their town. He stayed with them for 2 days, and many people believed because of everything He told them. Now they knew for themselves that He was indeed the Savior of the world. Its amazing how much one w

The Fields are Ripe for Harvest
Friday, December 12th, 2025 9:50 am Good morning! Today I am in John 4:31-38. The disciples tried to urge Jesus to eat after the Samaritan woman had left. But Jesus told them that His nourishment comes from doing the will of God, the One who sent Him, and finishing His work. Then He tells His disciples to wake up and look around for the fields are ripe for harvest. And the harvesters are paid good wages, and the fruit of their harvest is people brought to eternal life.

Filled with Excitement
Thursday, December 11th, 2025 4:18 am Good morning! This morning I am in John 4:27-30. Jesus is still at the well talking to the Samaritan woman. His disciples arrive from getting food, and they see Him talking with the woman. But they don't want to ask Him why He was talking with her. She leaves, leaving behind her water jar, and runs back to her village telling everyone about Jesus. Telling people to come see the man that told her everything she had ever done, and th

Wednesday, December 10th, 2025 4 am Good morning. This morning I am continuing on in the story of the woman at the well. John 4:16-26. After the woman asked Jesus to give her some of the living water He was talking about, Jesus told her to go get her husband. The woman told Him that she didn't have a husband. Jesus told her that she was right, that she doesn't have a husband, but has had 5 husbands, and the one she was living with was not her husband either. Then she t

Thirst
Tuesday, December 9th, 2025 4:48 am Good morning! This morning I am in John 4:4-15. Here we meet the woman at the well. Jesus and His disciples are passing through Samaria, and they come to Jacob's well. Jesus sends His disciples ahead to get food, while He stayed behind and rested. A Samaritan woman comes up to draw water. He asks the woman to give Him a drink. The woman was surprised because Jews usually had nothing to do with Samaritans. So she asked Him why He wo

Speak Truth
Monday, December 8th, 2025 4:22 am Happy Monday! I hope you had a good weekend. Mine was pretty good. I'm going to be honest though, my heart is sad this morning. I have been struggling all night and this morning, asking God what I need to do. I believe the passage this morning helped, but it is not easy. I want to be honest on here with how I am feeling everyday because we all have bad days just like we have good days. Some days are harder than others. Especially wh

Sunday, December 7th, 2025 8:50 am Good morning! This morning we are in John 3:22-36. After the meeting with Nicodemus, Jesus and His disciples head into the Judean countryside. While there they are baptizing people. During the same time, John the Baptist in on the other side of the Jordan River baptizing people as well. Some of John's disciples begin arguing, so they took their argument to John and told him that Jesus was also baptizing people, and many of their people

Look Up
Saturday, December 6th, 2025 3:56 pm Good afternoon! I hope you have had a good day today! My day has been very good. I had to go do a couple of things early this morning, so I didn't have a chance to get on here, but here I am now. We are continuing on with Jesus and Nicodemus in John 3:14-21. Jesus tells Nicodemus that, "just as Moses lifted up the bronze snake on a pole in the wilderness, so the Son of Man must be lifted up, so that everyone who believes in Him will

Understanding
Friday, December 5th, 2025 9:42 am Good morning! Today we are continuing on in John 3:3-12. We are still with Nicodemus and Jesus on the roof. He is questioning Jesus. Jesus tells him that, "unless you are born again, you cannot see the Kingdom of God" (John 3:3). Nicodemus does not understand how a person can be born again, so Jesus explains it a little more. He says that, "no one can enter the Kingdom of God without being born of water and the Spirit. Humans can rep

Thursday, December 4th, 2025 4:23 am Good morning! Today I am in John 2:23-3:21. Here we are introduced to Nicodemus. Nicodemus was a Jewish religious leader and Pharisee. He had seen Jesus teach and some of the miracles He did, and he wanted to ask Jesus some questions. Examining Jesus for Himself. The Pharisees at that time did not like Jesus because He undermined their authority and challenged their views. But Nicodemus had heard and saw enough that he knew Jesus w

Wednesday, December 3rd, 2025 4:58 am Good morning! Happy Wednesday! I say happy Wednesday, but I tell you, it was a struggle getting out of bed this morning. And it wasn't just because it is cold outside, I tend to struggle getting out of bed, period, on Wednesdays and Thursdays. I can usually get up good on Mondays and Tuesdays, but I don't know what it is about Wednesdays and Thursdays that my brain is like, "no thank you, I just want to go back to sleep." Unfortunat

Jesus is the Best
Tuesday, December 2nd, 2025 4:16 am Good morning! This morning, I am still in the same section I was yesterday, in the notes of my Bible. This morning, my Bible points out that the wine that Jesus created was better than the wine that was served first. The master of ceremonies pointed that out in John 2:10. The master of ceremonies says that people usually serve the best wine first, then after everyone has had a lot to drink, they would bring out the cheaper stuff. In l

Trust Jesus
Monday, December 1st, 2025 4:34 am Good morning! This morning I am in John 2:1-12. The next day, after Jesus tells His disciples that He is the stairway to heaven, they head to Cana in Galilee for a wedding celebration. While they were at the celebration, the host of the party ran out of wine. Jesus' mother told Him about it, but He told her that it was not His time yet. But instead of listening to Him, she told the servants to do whatever He told them to do. He told t
